I Tivo "Scrapbooking" and look forward to watching it every day. When I checked Tivo under "upcoming programs," which shows me the lineup for weeks in advance, it looks like there are only two more programs scheduled to air. Has it been cancelled? If so, I would like to see some other scrapbooking shows added to HGTV's lineup. I agree with other complaints I've seen on the blog that HGTV seems to be reducing its crafting shows in favor of even MORE decorating and home improvement shows. I enjoy them, too, but not at the expense of the scrapbooking and craft shows.

Well, it's over now. I was able to contact HGTV by phone after I posted to this blog, and they said the show has been out of production for two years, and it is now only going to air on Tuesdays at 6:30 a.m. (It used to come on every day, and until recently it aired twice a day. I loved it.) The representative I spoke with said she would pass my complaint along, but it didn't sound like anything else scrapbooking-oriented is in the works. Too bad!

Also, this show was totally technique- and idea-oriented and in no way sales-oriented like the HSN or QVC scrapbooking programs are. It was great. I'm really going through withdrawals. I'd like to see more scrapbooking shows, not fewer. The only other one I can find is "Scrapbook Memories," which comes on the BYU Channel (DirecTV channel 374) every day at noon EDT.

I too like to watch the Scrapbooking shows, what's left of them. I've just found a site with the neatest albums and custom paper. It is called Paper, Paste & Memories Scrapbook Albums made with Velcro & Custom Scrapbook Paper. The Albums are great and the Custom Paper is so bright and pretty. I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Unfortunately, it's not even being aired then! I miss that show and hope they become inundated by people wondering where it is. In my area at least it was one of the DIY productions.

We've been crying over on the other craft boards, all the crafting shows are slowly going away and they won't be back. So sad.

i am so sad that most of the craft shows i watch are no longer showing or are only on rarely. i am a scrapbooking, card making crafter. i also love to crosstich and other crafty things. i was always inspired by the craft shows i watched. please bring them back. scapbooking, the carol duvall show, and the card making show that was shown a few times with joy mac something. i can't remember her last name. there are a lot of stay home moms or retired person's (such as myself) that need and want these shows. i am very dissapointed in hgtv and diy for not bringing these shows back. i don't think most of the shows that are on have the number of people watching that you thnk. these need to be shown in the evening when the people have returned from work. some of the decorating shows make since but not the hammering, sawing everything apart type shows during the moring hours. i apologize in advance for any grammer or spelling problems in my message. i do hope i have expressed myself well enough.k.robert403@comcast.net

We've been crying over on the sewing/quilting board too. How many decorating/house selling shows can possibly be needed? I don't redecorate my house all the time, but I do scrapbook & sew. Crazy people in charge. Oh well. I rarely watch HGTV anymore, quite frankly. Gives me more time to scrapbook & sew. Wink

I am grateful to have these boards yet though!

I stopped watching both HGTV and DYI. Crafting shows were the reason I watched. I don't know of anyone who watches any more.

I seldom watch HGTV and DiyTV anymore. The management obviously does not want crafters watching them. Their emphasis now is on a male audience and decorators. They have the same shows repeatedly and very long commercials. Frown

seems like we get told what we want to watch instead of the viewers imput we'll just have to come up with a way to make a forum heard

I too agree with all of you. I love scrapbooking, crocheting and knitting, and just about any craft.
Why don't they put shows on for us. I would love a evening show. Most of us have to work.
