scrapbooking was the theme of dgd's recent lego-engineering club...

the kids came up with tharaputic scrapbooking for caregivers of dementia/altzs patients...they had the patients doing actual cut work (if able) but it was the older memories of pictures, ect, and information which was so valuable..it gave both a togetherness which is often missed...

wish i could say they did as well at states but robots won out, lol...

i've since talked to another cyber pal, whose dh is at the first stages...she had already started a life book for him and he has participated as much as he was interested...the book will be a gift to the family when finished (and we hope it won't be for a long time)
