Where are the gardening shows?
What happened to HGTV? Gardening? No shows...decorating within most budgets? No shows. I'm sick of "Love it or List it", where are the designers? Richardson, Olsen? Please stop rerunning House Hunters & Love It, etc. Know your audience! I'm a baby boomer (who have the money), and I hate all the arguing & scripted fighting in most of these shows. Who handles programming?? Some good shows are on early, early morning...not all of your audience uses a DVR. Give us back the HGTV we fell in love with...you're losing me.

I agree with you completely, I used to watch HGTV exclusively for my home and gardening tips and ideas. with all of the home selling shows on the programming now I do not watch it any more than to surf by on my channel list in case they may have gotten back to what they used to be.

I agree! But the question is why would they listen to anyone older than 60 or more. They took off all shows that people in our age group are interested in because we don't count. people programming this site could likely be in an age group of the selfish who feel they are entitled to think for us all and fall short of original goals of HGTV. Going to check DIY and know PBS in WI carry some pretty good ones.

I used to watch HGTV all the time. There were good shows on. Not any more! When I'm channel surfing, I skip right by HGTV. DIY used to have some good shows too, but not anymore. I don't watch that anymore either. I do watch PBS on Saturday's to see This Old House, Hometime, and others like it. Come on. HGTV. Change the programming before you lose everybody!

But haven't you noticed that Hometime and This Old House, only do large, very large, projects that are beyond the scope of most people? Good grief, I saw Hometime lay pavers over a cement floor in a shed.

So it is not just HGTV. They are all a little wacky.
