Our long national nightmare is over - or just beginning, haha! Sabrina's back w/S2 of High-Low.

Here's a placeholder, if anyone has comments. Or not - your preference.

Have a great weekend!

Liked the show, truly liked some of the high end items a little better, but Sabrina pulled it off

Agree, Fc, they did a pretty good job this time. Cautiously optimistic for the new season.

Disappointed that they didn't have Chris do the lacquered table. Liked the clean lines/simple design of the high-end much better. Thought it would have been extremely simple to construct and then just lacquer it as much as they had time for.

Also disappointed they didn't find a good knock-off for the Murano glass chandelier. Loved that piece - curious about EBay. Possibly they didn't have time.

Thought they could have done a better job of recreating the base's shape of that end table, too. BTW, that 2nd sofa appeared more comfortable, to us. Sorta' disagreed with Sabrina's pillow sewing instructions. Silk's tough, however -

Noticed Chris didn't appear on camera at the apt. Tight quarters, working in Manhattan. (Assuming the guys lived in Manhattan. The lr was fairly large, however. Could have been another borough.) He appeared to have an off-site workshop, however.

Going forward - hope they limit and/or eliminate the Tarjait episodes.

All of the above, JMHO - as usual.

I agree about the laquered table - seems they could have done better with that.
Overall I didn't care that much for the room and really hated the mirrors. But, then, it's SO not my style and since the occupants of the space were - or at least seemed to be - thrilled beyond measure it was okay.

Agree, doodles about those mirrors. Didn't understand why Sabrina was touting them as great replacements. Although it's fine to mix styles, they appeared Asian to me. Expected her to purchase some inexpensive mirrors and then gold-leaf them.

Not our style, either but she seemed to do a pretty good job on the room, overall. Good start for the new season, too. Agree, the guys' reaction did appear genuine, to us.
