I really like I Hate My Kitchen with contractor/host James Young. He creates beautiful kitchens which the homeowners love. He tries to give them what they want and need. He also recycles old cabinets and uses ecofriendly materials that are less costly. The homeowners tell him their budget and usually they are a little under or a little over.

I totally agreed with you mriley. He's really great at transforming old stuff to great things. I always watch his tv series in DIY Network.
I am so glad to see a program that doesn't have kitchens that cost 50,000 and yet for a fraction of that price, they look just as good.

Exactly. Average Joes and Marys are looking for great designs at manageable prices. Not the $50K budget shows. I like that James Young gives the homeowners reality budgets and the outcome is a great kitchen!
