..for not strangling Sandra (on the Jeff & Sandra episode). Either it was really unfair editing, bad acting, or that woman was just plain nasty and her husband was milquetoast. Ugh.
OMG. I wanted to reach through the TV and strangle the biotch. She was beyond nasty and that husband of hers put up with her attitude. Was this the couple who were originally married, got a divorce, and then remarried? Think we are talking about the same couple. She got into a snit because Hilary wasn't going to give her a cedar closet for her precious fur coats? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Debbyinohio,
That's the episode. That woman was a piece of work and her husband needed a good "wake up to reality" shake.
Given how nasty she was through-out the show to everybody, I wondered how she treated her stepdaughter. Now we know. I felt so bad that the girl didn't even get to have a closet in her bedroom. What teenage girl doesn't need a closet?! For a while there, she wasn't even going to get a DOOR given how Nasty Sandy was vehemently shaking her head and saying "no" when Hillary was showing her where the doorway was going to be framed out. I can only hope her Dad finally spoke up about it behind the scenes.
About the coats....it wasn't clear why Hillary didn't talk to her about the closet when creating the original design. And, it wasn't clear why Sandra refused to consider properly storing the coats off-site. But, it was just all par for the course.
If you have a chance to re-watch the episode, notice that Sandra didn't even have anything nice to say during the reveal. Other homeowners will exclaim with delight and make comments like "beautiful" or "amazing". In this reveal, the show kept cutting to Hillary describing the finished product because there wasn't a peep out of Sandra.
If she isn't truly that horrible in real life and if she was just following a script, why would she (or anyone!) agree to make herself look like such an rigid, self-centered,harridan on national television? I think, in this case, truth is stranger than fiction.
Can't hide the true personality sometimes even in front of the cameras
that person has to be as cold as they come
I'd be ashamed to see my self like that on TV
