Just finished watching House Hunters with Melissa and Mat! Boy is he a real pain!!! Now that I know how House Hunters works, I know that they had to have the house in closing before they were on the show, so it's alittle dramatic to continually say through the whole show that they looked at over 100 houses and had 4 fall through! I know when they are clients are complaining on the show, it is just an act and that HHunters wants it to be dramatic! I use to love this show, but now I wonder if I really care if I see it or not!

It is not necessarily an act. Some people do look at many houses and it is not that unusual right now for a low bid house to fall through, especially if it was a short sale.

I agree with Charming. Though the outcome is fixed, it doesn't mean that the homeowner's previous experience and angst is not real.

Ride with the tide and go with the flow. Suspend your cynicism. It's mindless TV afterall.

I would assume most are just relating the experiences that led up to finding the house they chose.

I've known for a long time that the house was already chosen but I generally guess wrong as to which house it is.

I still enjoy the show. It is just entertainment.
