I have just tuned in to the Holiday Show and I think I am really going to enjoy it. The designers are Meg, Danielle and Emily. I found this show by accident. Hope others are watching and will give their opinions.

I did enjoy this Celebrity Holiday Show. Since I favor traditional Christmas decorations, I liked Danielle's work on Bebe Winan's home. He seemed to like it, too. Meg's decor was over the top and very beautiful. She also decorated the outside of the house with lights. Emily's project was not my taste even though it was pretty. It featured a lot of hot pink.

Danielle made a drink that sounded pretty good and I think I may try it. She mixed lime sherbert with ginger ale and floated pineapple and lime slices in it. This was a festive drink that the children could also enjoy.

I loved Meg's candle idea. I'm so going to try that. I wanted to buy some blingy looking candles this year but they're so expensive and now I have a great affordable DIY option. Also loved the spray painted trees. When I saw her doing that I thought 'What!!!' but it turned out so great!

Must say my favorite was Emily (and I've been wearing hot pink and red together for years). She really transformed the space into something that was full of life and happiness. I love that she does beautiful, yet non-traditional holiday decor, something unique and more personal. My favorite was the artwork 'Now Dasher, Now Dancer" - I'm so going to steal that!!! I did the 'Joy To The World' on the map that she did in her Holiday Special last year, which I think was the best HGTV Holiday Special ever!!! I think she is the most talented of all the HGTV designers. Absolutely love her!

I enjoyed this show so much I've watched it 3xs so far and it's still on my TiVo for reviewing.

My favorite was Danielle Colding's work in Bebe Winan's house. The garland with sprayed leaves that resembled leather was so unique. Loved the kissing balls. Plan to emulate in my living room. Spiked ball tree topper looked easy to make. The photoed wrapping paper was genius.

Second favorite was Alison Sweeney's house. The trees & buffet very tastefully done. The Santa mural blew me away. Gonna use that idea somewhere in my decorating. Very smart.

The multiple trees and colors used in Cheryl Burks' modern house was stunning.

Wayne Brady's Hawaiian inspired Christmas decorations came across as classic and tasteful. Had a feeling the overall design looked better in person than on film because the designer's featured items looked fantastic in close ups.

I also enjoyed Sarah's Christmas party and the annual White House holiday prep show. Sarah and Tommy had a lot of fun getting Sarah's house holiday ready using non traditional colors. I thought the use of tealight mini lanterns by the front door was attractive, and something I might try.

I watched the new Celebrity Holiday Homes. I didn't recognize any of the designers but I enjoyed the show. One idea was making wreaths with picture frames and greenery and ornaments. The designer made three and hung them on mirrors. It looked very pretty. Another designer made a Christmas tree out of drift wood from the beach. It was unique to me.

I will have to watch my tape again because I can't remember all the different ideas they had.

That is what we called - Methodist Punch. Served at all of our get togethers and celebrations.

About the holiday shows last year. I missed almost all of them. I was very disappointed that they hardly repeated any of the programs - especially the Whitehouse show, one of our favorites that they have not found a way to dramatize. Hmmm, wonder if that is why it's wasn't on more frequently?
