Does anyone watch this show? I saw no mention of it. Maybe it's an old show that I didn't know about until now.

Takes place in Iowa (as does American Pickers) and these guys do room makeovers with the re-purposed salvaged items (purchased from pickers). Kinda interesting though I find the picking aspect of American Pickers more compelling.

I saw this on the show list right after Salvage Dawgs, which I absolutely love! Haven't watched WES yet but will try to catch it next time it is on.

Liked the concept but oooh the false drama that all these nonscripted shows have, ugh

I like the interplay between the deadpan (and more serious) proprietor Don and the artsy, whimsical designer Hal. They seem so different from each other, but work well together, even when they're arguing over Hal's ideas.

How about Don's "cute shoes" discount? He doesn't give the impression of a guy who would use the phrase "cute shoes" (versus Hal who seems like he does), and that's part of the appeal.

I happened to catch two episodes late last night. And almost posted about it. But didn't care enough to do so.

It's alright. But nothing I haven't seen before.
I've been watching HGTV for 17 years...there's not much I haven't seen -- done BETTER...and YEARS ago at that.

West End Salvage doesn't do anything people didn't do on Decorating Cents (a show, no doubt, newbies don't even know about)

I barely watch Candace Olsen with interest anymore.

I watched "West End Salvage" because nothing else was more enticing. The room makeover results weren't impressive.
