I don't know about other viewers but I was little perturbed with this couple. They looked at 3 gorgeous houses with "ginormous" rooms, but to them everything was small or not to their liking....Gimmie a break folks. Maybe its just me but the couple seemed a little shallow and self absorbed. Just saying.

Totally agree with you!
But that's just my 2 cents!

I did something with this episode that I don't think I've ever done watching HHI: I turned it off after 5 minutes. The first turnoff was being informed immediately that they made their first million dollars when they turned 24. The second turnoff was the husband stating that they wanted a home that reflected their success, or something like that.
They seemed to be quite taken with themselves and their "image" and it was a turn off for me.

I also turned it off after just a few minutes. They just seemed like the kind of people you would want to tell to get over themselves. I'd rather watch average people looking at homes that the average person could maybe afford.
Then--of course--think of the irony of the airing of unbridled narcissism on that day... I have NO idea what the powers that be at HGTV are thinking these days on so many levels...

Welcome to Vegas, folks. I had family who lived there for ten years. That place is filled with obnoxious people in love with themselves. I was so glad when my relatives left that vapid city.

I just got an email from my daughter telling me to watch HH on 9/25 because a friend from high school will be the buyer. She said they were asked to be pickier than they normally would have been about paint, etc. BTW, my daughter doesn't own a TV and knows nothing about the discussions we have on these boards about faked drama.

Thanks for the heads up-
