My issue with this show, is the Hillary lady. I would think she would be a flexible enough or experienced enough designer to know how to reduce certain products and substitute for cheaper ones in order to give the clients what they really want. She never likes to changes her design in order to do this. But I've watched tons of other experienced ones, who'll know when to switch out hardwood for bamboo or granite for Quartz. She ALWAYS runs out of money and never really satifies the customer. I mean if the main problem a shortage of bathrooms, who cares about having pretty tilework or hardwood flooring. there was a this huge fam that needed a second bath and she couldn't do it. she can't do shi&

She actually cuts main things. Huge things. over using expensive products. I've seen Candace substitute certain materials and she gets the same effect. This woman uses products that are too high end and then she uses up all the budget. This one couple needed more space, but she didn't give it to them, she worried about giving them a high end kitchen and flooring. She wastes money. These never even got their basement finished. they needed the space... for a new baby...I just think she's too concerned about appearances instead of practicality and listening to the needs of the homeowner. she needs to learn to do better. think outside the box.
