Hi! I love watching HGTV but it seems everytime I turn it on, House Hunters is on. I'm really tired of this show. I turn it on during the day and it's on. I turn it on at night during the prime watching time and that is all that's on. I love everything else, but just really tired of this show all the time.

Shellier, Welcome to the Message Board.

You are saying what a lot of us have been saying for quite a while. Some of us have written emails to HGTV, but so far nothing has changed.

the problem isn't so much house hunters as the people on it.

please just give house hunters its own channel. it is on all the time. did HGTV forgot to film new shows this year. i love this channel but every time you turn it on its either house hunters or a rerun for the 100th time. what happened to the shows that we all started watching this channel for, shows we could actually learn DIY thing from. very disappointing.

I actually love watching House Hunters as well as the International one. It's my favorite HGTV show. What's better than knowing a little personal story about the couple, tagging along while they're touring houses, and then trying to guess which one they choose in the end. And the best part is actually seeing them in their home a couple months later. It's like a happy ending all the time. Haha. Love it though.

Me, too! Although I think we're in the minority, Pattijen. I don't travel much, so the International version is a fun way to check out other countries without getting out of my sweatpants! (Yesterday, there was even an episode of HHI on the Travel Channel.)

I like LaVinda's idea of giving the HH shows their own channel, but that's an expensive proposition. However, you never know. Stranger things have happened.

Despite what many people on this board seem to think, House Hunters/House Hunters International is probably HGTV's biggest draw and the viewers of the show are a silent majority.

I think it's about the only show on HGTV I still watch (although off and on).

I agree that House Hunters and House Hunters International are good shows. I don't like to see it hour after hour, day after day. I think they need more variety in their programming during the prime time hours and weekends. I wish they would put some gardening shows on with the real estate shows. Just my opinion.

I am so ready for the new season to start.

Can we ever have just one day without House Hunters and Holmes On Homes?!!! There used to be variety on this channel. I very seldom watch it anymore. Who wants to continuously watch a bunch of whiners who just can't consider buying a home without granite countertops and two sinks in the master bath? Is this really what life is all about?! It gets soooooo old day after day.

I do like the new episodes of HH but agree that it is on wayyyy too much. And, of course, since Monday is a holiday for many, HH will be on playing ALL day again. Yet another holiday of nothing but HH.

My first time here! So interesting to see how everyone agrees w/ me re HH. I personally love the show except for the continued reruns...and the very same reruns over & over again! It's the same with Property Brothers which is NEW in my area. LOVED IT, but don't think I saw more than half dozen episodes b4 they became reruns already!! HGTV cannot help but lose viewers...They've lost 50% of my viewing already, a hardened diehard fan!

I love HH but not all that crazy about HH International and disappointed that it's on as OFTEN as it is especially with all IT'S reruns, too! My favorite part of HH, and many other shows that are my favorites, are the BEFORE and AFTER views! It same reason I also love Designed to Sell, Get it Sold and others like those...(& Sabrina Soto, Monica Pederson, Tanya Nayak, all miracle workers that are a pleasure to watch besides).

RetiredinTampa, Welcome to the Boards.

I always fly into Tampa when I visit my son in St. Pete.

I am tired of the repetition and reruns also. The new season and new shows will be starting in the next few months and I am so ready for them. I wish they would put out a schedule so we will know when to start looking for them. Marylee

I tune into HH in spurts. That way the shows are always new to me. Smile

I have been watching HGTV for years. When HH first came out, it was good for a few seasons but we get a steady diet of it. It should have it's own night or time slot, and not bore us devoted HGTV fans to death. PLEASE LISTEN TO US!

I enjoy House Hunters most of the time. My question is where do they find the stupid ignorant people that are on the program. They have to be spoiled and not care that they sound like idiots. I would probably stop selling real estate if I had to put up with some of them

A friend of mine is a realtor, and she said sometimes actual buyers are even worse!
