I enjoy the show mainly because of the ideas I can get from Hillary. I live in a really old home, moving is not an option for us. So, the ideas I get from watching this show is really helpful. I do hate the fact the families are always so ungreatful and complain alot. I just try and tune that out and focus on the ideas and changes. Honestly I really hate the way tv/reality shows have become so full of really ungreatful people. Most all the shows that have anything to do with buying a new home, remodeling...there always seems to be drama. That is sad. But anyway, just thought I would make my first post saying that "one" of my favorite shows is "Love it or List it". Scripted or not, I like taking a space/home and making it work instead of looking for bigger and better.A little elbow grease never hurt anyone. This message has been edited. I like to watch it too! But I feel for Hilary as these people don't give her enough money but their budget to buy a home is always generous. Don't they think that she isn't going to find some structural problems with their homes, especially older ones. They need to add at least $20,000 allowance for these emergencies to the remodeling budget. They are so spiteful toward her when she has to give them bad news. Then on the other hand, they also give David grief when he shows them less than perfect houses. If I were Hilary or David, I would tell these people to take a hike! I feel like reaching through the TV and smacking them upside the head.
