May be my favorite DYI HGTV program. So very REAL. Just saw the episode about selling Minnehaha. Good news. But what a labor of love. Nicole Curtis LOVES her house(s) and it shows. I believe most viewers and fans of DYI and HGTV share her heart for home, good design, style, and elbow grease.
I like Rehab Addict a lot, too, and I think Nicole is a great character. I watch Renovation Realities, too, and it's rare to see women do so much physical labor without whining and declaring how they're "so over it". I still marvel at how she can find the time to do all she does.

It's named for the street, the neighborhood and, most importantly, Lake Minnehaha, IMHO.
Didn't see the episode and don't know when it was filmed. Thought I heard somewhere last month (a tweet, possibly) that Nicole's (currently) acquiring the home. Don't know if she and a partner (?) provided seller-financing and are currently in the process of foreclosure.
So, the Minnehaha house saga may not be over. Stay tuned -
Minnehaha's name is connected to many things in Minnesota, such as Minnehaha Falls, Minnehaha Park, Minnehaha Creek, Minnehaha Academy, and the name of a boat once operated by Twin City Rapid Transit on Lake Minnetonka, which has now been restored and is at the Museum of Lake Minnetonka. Minnehaha Avenue and Hiawatha Avenue are both major thoroughfares that run parallel to each other, heading southeast from downtown Minneapolis, and yet another Minnehaha Avenue that runs east-west through Saint Paul.
I saw that episode where she said she sold it. It is a gorgeous house. Was it shown in the first season? I only started watching this show a few episodes ago. Such a beautiful house!!!

Love what Nicole does repurpose and reuse. We need so much more of that today in our world. I wish some of these other design shows would take note. Thank you NICOLE!
Young couples wanting spend $30K on a kitchen remodel. Why not reface cabinets that have good bones instead of tearing them out. I saw Nicole's episode where she did a WHOLE HOUSE craftsman for $23,000 with the help of the couple. Just amazing what she can do. Resourceful gal.
