aren't on anymore. :-( Don't watch too many of the ones on now. I'm not planning to sell my house, buy another one or "update" it into a modern design. Ugh!

I believe many of use HGTV fans moved away from watching as much HGTV because the old shows are gone. I still miss George Gray's, "What's With That House!" Joan Steffans' show, and "If Walls Could Talk." There's a few gardening shows I miss as well.

I enjoy the shows that inspire creativity. Antonio Ballatore is fabulous in that regard. I avoid all the real estate buy/sell shows, which means I'm not watching HGTV much any more. I don't want to "neutralize" my color pallet, or install granite countertops and stainless appliances. Lately, there has been a lot of preaching on this network about what you "should" do to your house. Conform conform conform. No thanks.

I love all the "Crashers" shows but I wish you would stop destroying everything in the room. Some of it can be used in projects that help low income families improve their homes or be sold at a second hand store for almost nothing! It seems to be such a waste to always destroy and trash fixtures that could be used.
