Another failed effort. Another awful show.

This family is annoying. Who on earth thought they would make for good TV?

OMG, I've watched 7 minutes of it... its beyond awful......

I'd rather watch Jersey Shore. Please, someone tell me if this family is blackmailing someone to get their own show.

I don't know...

This show is so "campy" that I actually enjoy watching it.

Mind you, I've never seen an entire episode - just bits and pieces -

Since I've never watched a complete show, I do wonder if the husband ever says anything?????

His wife called him her "Trophy Husband" this week. I just laughed. I can almost handle the twins - but the mom - she drives me a little nuts!

What an irratating and obnoxious family. Pair this group up with that woman from Hard as Nails - now, that would be a show!!! Cancel ASAP.

The show cracks me up, much the same way Million Dollar Listings LA and NY on another network do.

It is so campy, as Lavern 2 suggested, sooo over the top, so wink-wink and so tongue in cheek; it's a nice change of pace to the sourpusses on House Hunters who take themselves sooo seriously.

This show is so painful to watch. I'd love to find the camp in it, but alas, there is none to my eyes.

I predict a short life for this atrocious series.

If the show is as bad as the commercial, I'll pass.

The husband sits there like a puppet with a vacant eyes and weird facial expressions. The wife is gaudy dressed and badly made up. And the twins... they learned "from the best". Horrible, tasteless show. HGTV, why would you think your viewers deserve this???

The negative reviews tempted me enough to watch this show.

It seems a natural progression for HGTV, to go from pseudo-reality to character development and clearly scripted programming. Can't blame 'em, people obviously like the campy.

I have to admit, I liked seeing what those Malibu homes were like. Looking at the water and the beach I am sure that I'd rather spend my $1M in the Caribbean than $13M on Malibu.

On the catty side, there is too much blonde on the show. The white-blonde mix of the mother is fine, but the daughters just look, well...no, I won't get that catty.

I'd give this show another shot if they come up with more interesting homes to look at.

I agree with oldnew.The dad is obviously the submissive personality in their relationship. The wife is so loud and aggressive I can not even watch five minutes of this mess.

All time worst show on HGTV ever!! Such a fake family, with a Mom who "thinks" she can act and "thinks" she is so fabulous and interesting.
She belongs on a shrink's couch. Ill thought out show, dippy and corny family. I wouldn't let them help me buy or sell anything "ever". They are cartoon characters.

I have three shows under my belt now, and I admit, I think it's entertaining. The wife is exuberant but who knows? Maybe that's really her personality. The husband seems to have facial tics (constantly raising eyebrows and jerky smiles). He doesn't mind being the brunt of jokes. He sort of reminds me of Teller of Penn and Teller, or even Harpo Marx. The daughters are more toned-down versions of their mother. I don't feel that anyone takes himself/herself seriously and I like looking at the homes. Best of all, nobody's nasty.

I especially relate to Glori's love of "animal print" (LOL)

People go into Real Estate because no one else will have them, it's like the glamor version of being a mall shoe store salesperson, so don't expect the impossible. Just do what I do, and don't watch.

I like this show its different, and she is not afraid to be herself, I have to laugh at her remarks, and luv her husband he loves her for herself,don't see that too often

This show is HGTV at its most tasteless--and, given HGTV's recent string of tasteless shows (Donna, Dina, David in Miami), that's quite a statement.

There is absolutely nothing charming or interesting or watchable about this obnoxious, deluded family. The mother spouts so much stupidity she makes Kathie Lee Gifford look intelligent. And the daughters are sad imitations of their loud-mouthed mother.

Thanks for insulting your viewers by airing this trash, HGTV.

Well said, Tristan82. I totally agree - especially with your Kathie Lee comment. I watch one Natural Born show and that was enough for me. It can be pulled NOW

so much negativity here, I read up on this family and they are top Real estate sellers in CA. I don't watch the K"s at all they truly disgust me

but this show does show a hard working family that goes over the top to get a house sold or bought, I sometimes don't agree with the silliness, but like the show and the faboulous houses and veiws, its different and different is refreshing LOL

I don't understand why people get on message boards and complain about a particular show and ask that it be canceled because they don't like it. Many people may just 'like it' so if you don't please feel free to chance the channel. That's what I do if I don't like something on tv.

I agree....I think this show is great! The family is adorable (sometimes a little "on") but entertaining for sure. Love the sister/twin dynamic and they are great real estate agents/business women.

Witty, intelligent women - so not Kartrashian!

I SO agree. Why insist that a show be cancelled just because you don't like it when all you have to do is NOT WATCH. I don't watch most of HGTV's offerings (currently, I'm up to 4). I have a remote so it's not even any trouble to change channels. My remote even has the ability to turn the TV off. No kidding.

LOL sometimes my remote turns off all by itself ,very convenient

I guess the impossible dream is that someone from HGTV will one day read these threads and realize that viewers already have BRAVO for trash T.V. and many would like to see the station return to informative drama free DESIGN programming.

No fake drama and overblown competition. Design shows where they flash designers' credentials on the screen (education, certifications, years of professional experience, etc.). Gardening shows (I'll rehire Paul). Steady cameras. House hunters will be over 45 (no stairs, low maintenance lawns take priority over you-know-what in the kitchen).

Sounds like PBS and This Old House and Victory Garden.

I would love a "geezer" channel. Shows like Lynette Jennings for decorating and other "not reality" type shows. Sounds good to me.

I'm an HGTV junkie having watched this channel's shows for about three months straight now. I also fonnd Natural Born Sellers (NBS)irritating but gave it a chance for about four shows. As another member wrote, the parents remind me of Penn and Teller but there's no magic to be seen. In fact the title of the show is a real "misnomer" in that there seems to be very few sales if you examine the final written remarks at the time of the credits. Having purchased my own home in the past and learning that realtors generally make their money off of the home sellers (i.e. a percentage of the purchase price of the property) the incentive to have a property sell at a lower price for a buyer seems a conflict of interest to begin with. However arguable the pleasing of a buyer may be what annoyed me about NBS was that the parent realtors seemed as unfamiliar with the properties they were selling as the buyers when they entered the properties, aside from perhaps having viewed the paper listings. Then they also appeared to foster unrealistic glowing hopeful expectations for the buyers compared to the realistic expectations all the other realtors on HGTV imbue. In addition it is so refreshing to see how hard the realtors work for their clients on shows like Property Virgins, House Hunters, Love It or List It, and the Property Brothers. While the realtors on House Hunters International seem to me a mixed bag, the Property Twins (Brothers)really show their equanimity and even handedness for the client who is both is both seller and buyer during the course of their Buying and Selling show. Boy do all those realtors know their properties inside and out and really seem able to empathize with the buyer. Maybe the the twin sisters from NBS can also but those parents on NBS shopuld not hold themselves out as models for anyone, much less their daughters. Those sisters could undoubtedly learn more about professional ethics from their Property Brother counterparts. As for that Teller of a husband who knows what he thinks about anything. I would like to have seen him throw his wife over that hedge in their promo excerpt rather than giving her a leg up.

Well, here I am again having now seen enough of "The High Low Project" to also consider it Awful television. I'm now addressing HGTV viewiers familiar with the program. First and foremost while the basic concept of the show, that is, to redecorate a room or number of rooms to the clients' satisfaction without spending an arm and a leg as in most makeovers and staying within a tenant or homeowner's stated budget is an admirable goal, but how it is obtained verges on the obscenely unethical. I really should say immoral because designers do not have documented or undocumented codes of ethics to my knowledge. So first off there's the theft of intellectual property in showing high end and high cost furnishings and finishes, then going about immitating those products in some cases replacing a handwoven, substntial, individually crafted or aged ( perhaps antique) item with a visual lookalike or knockoff.Only the layout of the items in the room with similary sized and colored items perhaps also capturing the texture of the original and if not then just having almost any texture because texture is cental to that particular item. These subsrtitutions border on bait and switch, not that the client is not aware and even party to the switch which is the main premice of the show, but whose to know if the substitutions cost one fifth the price of the high end items perhaps someone from the so called HIGH, LOW AND LOWER SHOW couldn't find satisfactory substitutes for even much less. Then there are those occasions when the host designer goes to a prop outlet to find a substitute item. Perhaps if clients themselves had access to such outlets, then maybe some clients could do a better or less costly job on their own. Such maneuvers seem somewhat like cheating and even somewhat lazy as just willy, nilly going into some high end store to purchase the original staging items in the first place. Why not just shop for less expensive items in the first place. Of course then there might not be any snob appeal to the show. I'm reminded of a show today in which plexiglass was substituted for real glass and poster replicas of original framed art were used as substtutes. Why not just take photos of the staged room(s) and just blow them up and paste them on each of the walls and why not do the same with photo of a chandelier pasted on
pasred on the ceiling. How about Parisean scenes pasted to the window panes. a real saving, eh?
