I agree that the show is probably scripted. I agree that each show has the homeowners acting rude. I agree that each show has all sorts of problems that had not been foreseen. This is just all done for the show. Most of the shows like this are also very formulaic. I just watch them to get ideas on new things, or color combinations I can use. I like Hillary's decorating style. I have always wondered what the homeowners get from being on the shoe. (like new furniture or appliances). Let's enjoy it or just not watch it.

I do agree with you. I don't watch it usually because of the homeowner's drama. It seems that LIOLI is always on...new & reruns. Like to see some of the old shows return, where they actually fix someone's home the way they want it and the homeowner's are happy, pleasant people. lol

I can barely stand Hilary. She's supposedly a professional; she gets mad when someone attacks her "professional integrity" even though she's the one to make promises. The couples agree to spend their budget with her based solely upon her promising to do certain things. I've been in the flipping/remodeling business for many years...when someone says they want a wall removed to make a room bigger, a good contractor can tell right away if it's a load bearing wall, etc.. The idea of the show is good. .they just need a new Hilary who knows what she can and can't do. Like Property Brothers..
