In keeping with the tradition of H.H. the vacation home was already picked and the other two were imposters and not available. How else could family with young kids not pick the house with the pool in New Mexico? I'd like to say I'm shocked but I'm suffering from House Hunters Numbing Syndrome

Knowing you, my friend, it would take more than that to shock you anyway.
The way the economy is going I expect we'll see HH - Cardboard Box Edition soon.

I only saw the SF show. The whole concept doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Unless you're there for several weeks, who wants to spend the first few days dragging around doing filming at these other places? In the SF episode, why would they want to take the kids to the woods north of the city when the purpose of the visit was the city?
