I thought HGTV could sink no lower, but I was wrong.

Really?

I have seen one and one-half shows of this series, and the errors are enormous. For example: looking at a wood stove and then saying, "I really like the fireplace." Or the realtor getting off the boat and firing off a shotgun in case there were bears? Excuse me? What a load!

I think you have to look past a lot of that "stuff" Smile and just concentrate on the scenery. Smile I saw the one with the couple purchasing on Kodiak Island. I have never been there and was amazed how gorgeous it was. Of course, it helps when the sun is out! Smile

This is a copy of the show 'Buying Alaska' on another channel.(Destination Channel I think). I'm pretty sure that the people who own HGTV own that channel too. I like both shows!

They are starting a new show on Dest called 'Buying the Bayou'. I'm really looking forward to that one!
