Excuse me for being late as I'm sure this show has been discussed before. HGTV is currently showing a marathon of it and this is my first time seeing it.

Is it me or is this show completely worthless?

What is it exactly I'm supposed to be gleaning from this show, how awesome it is to be spectacularly wealthy? I'm sure it is, so congrats to these homeowners but that said, what does this have to do with the average HGTV viewer? I'm not even getting design tips from this because so far all the homes except one have been hideous, over the top, nouveau riche foolishness. The one cool one was still over the top, but it was like "the ultimate industrial loft" and there were some cool elements. now they're showing some "taj mahal" inspired nonsense or some such, I mean please. Please. I'm not getting new shows from Sarah Richardson or Peter Falico but they can air this? Gah American TV can be so maddening at times. Not everyone is interested in some KardashianRealHousewifeofWherever fantasy.

Thanks for allowing me to vent this show is vexing me. Lol.

I don't like this show. Too much wealth. Just makes me feel bad about my home and my life. Let's just let the millionaires enjoy their lives without rubbing our noses in it.

Amen TDRock! Ugh, I've watched a few times and I must say I'd rather watch paint dry. Definitely a case of "more money than brains!" No one gives a rats rear about million dollar anything, let those types go brag about their laughable homes with their own ilk and give us sensible design. I feel sorry for Carter, surely fawning all over richy rich types isn't his idea of a fun job.
