Why I enjoy Million Dollar Rooms Sign In/Join

I see a lot of negativity here about this show... seems people needed an outlet during the recession.

However, HGTV, please keep in mind that there are many people who enjoy this show. My girlfriend and family enjoy watching it with me.

The reason I love it? Because it is the single best glimpse in the United States at life inside the homes of wealthy people.

Youtube is worthless in this regard. It is inundated with videos by real estate agents. Most of the videos were made using 15 year old cameras. And an astonishing number of real estate "videos" are nothing other than screenshot galleries. By luxury real estate companies! Wow, these guys are slow to adapt to technology.

It seems that most criticism towards Million Dollar Rooms is actually aimed at wealthy people who "waste" a lot of money "needlessly" on frivolous, expensive features for their homes.

Well, regardless of how you feel about wealth, you cannot deny that your home is an important place in your life.

And there is no better show than Million Dollar Rooms to illustrate what incredible (and yes, just as often tacky) things people can do with their homes.

HGTV, I have one major complaint about the show. I cannot find a reliable place to watch it. Make it available on Netflix! Or make it available on Amazon Instant video! Release it on DVD! I will gladly pay $25/season. Heck, I'd pay $50/season.

But only having it available on cable is ridiculous. You're alienating a huge demographic. Get on this!

I am glad someone enjoys this show
some of the rooms are just sooooo beautiful

IMO after a few sessions of watching this show I see why G*D did not let me be born rich, LOL

there are so many in this world in poverty and starvation that I could never not help some-one doing without******
the lavish spending just makes me want to be sick, sorry JIMO

I guess thats why IMO I appreciate what we have and not what we don't have
