Talk about first world problems. So sorry you have to move from an 85 million dollar home to a 40 million dollar one. And what is with the scene of the guy giving her a painting for free? Why is she remotely worried about how much a painting of cherries cost. Sorry about the small rant... I just think this show, along with shows like "Christmas Celebrity Home Makeover" just make no sense at all.

You know Biltmore does a brisk business every year with people paying to tour it. Same with Hearst Castle in California. There appears to be a market for seeing how the rich and famous live. I was going to say there isn't a real demand for trailers of the working class, but then I remembered there are a couple of shows about hoarding on A&E and Discovery. As with all of these shows if you don't like it don't watch it. Complaining here will not change HGTV's programming line-up. General Disclaimer Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance. My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
