I just noticed that there are new episodes of Sarah's house on today starting at 2:00 pm EST!!! I am so excited! It's the little things, or in this case, the Sarah things that make me happy. Sorry, if I sound too off the wall.

Not too off the wall for me. I'm at work until at least 4:30 and I can't wait to get home to see what has been recorded.

Charles,
So far I don't think you will be disappointed. She is building a new home, but of course it isn't the typical cookie cutter.
BTW, someday, I'd love to see pictures from your interior design portfolio. Do you have any posted on Houzz or Pinterest? This message has been edited. Last edited by: cindy8w,

Sarah is by far the most talented designer on HGTV.
This is one of the very few shows I watch on the network.

Sarah has always been my HGTV favorite, even over the beloved Candice. I just wish HGTV would put her show on week nights. Some of us do work the weekends and rarely get a chance to catch her show. Gotta learn how to use the DVR.

THE BEST SHOW ON HGTV!!!She is professional, great camera presence and her designs ROCK!!! She can do any style, any room, any challenge in front of her flawlessly. HGTV viewers need more of her shows. NOT Genevieve, not Meg, not Antonio, not even Candace (same design for everything). Sarah Richardson is the best!

As you can tell from my earlier post, I absolutely love Sarah's designs. Although until today I never noticed just how much of Tommy's input is used. I liked his selections, plus he was hilarious.

I love Sarah and very rarely would I quibble with her color choices, but that lavendar living room was not to my liking. And has anyone else noticed that she does gray kitchens whenever she has a chance? When I first became aware of her on Design Inc, years ago, it seemed that ALL her rooms were shades of gray. But, as usual, her fabric choices were perfect on all the episodes shown today.

I taped Sarah's shows today and have only watched one, but am looking forward to seeing the rest. I love to see Sarah pick her fabrics..her upholstered pieces are always beautiful. She is my favorite designer and I am glad HGTV has finally aired her new season.

She's on again next Saturday too!!
I don't understand why they don't air this season of Sarah's House over say a 6 - 8 week timeframe instead of all the shows in two Saturdays. I also heard that they won't be airing all the episodes that were filmed for this season of Sarah's House. But seeing her on TV today definitely brightened my day!! Love Sarah!!!

I don't understand HGTV programming at all. I also love Sarah's House and pretty much any show with her and Tommy because I learn so much from them. After watching Design Star and hearing the judges constantly say how the contestants need to give good information etc... and here they have two professionals that design beautifully and can make a show enjoyable while still giving lots of good information and HGTV condenses a season into 2 Saturdays. I just don't get it. I was foolishly hoping that the reason they decided to air the new season over 2 Saturdays was because there are other shows they filmed with Sarah and Tommy that would be coming up but I know I'm just dreaming.

Not only is Sarah a superb designer, I love watching her to see what she's wearing. Her stylish wardrobe is also inspirational to me.

I watched all four episodes today; absolutely love her designs. Sarah is absolutely tops as a designer along with Tommie. So enjoy watching them both together.

I thought I read on here somewhere that they are only showing 10 of the 13 episodes. Figured out today from references that BESIDES the first episode where she chose the house, we missed the dining room, and the girl's bedroom episodes. Wonder what made them decide to leave those three out?
But that's just my 2 cents!

They are airing 9 of the 13 episode season. Besides the first episode, we are missing the Girl's Bedroom, the Rec Room and the Dining Room. However, the last three are listed on the HGTV episode website but without air dates. It is beyond me why we are not seeing the entire season. Do the programers not know that we saw glimpses of those rooms on almost every episode aired today? Who made the choices as which ones to air and why?

The Rec Room episode aired yesterday (just got done watching it on DVR). My settings are set to air any new episode, so if they ever air the other three episodes, it will catch it (actually...BOTH DVRs will catch it. One in the basement, one in the living room)
But that's just my 2 cents!

Gail, my DVR caught it too. I only watched the Boy's Room, the Craft Room and the Master Bedroom yesterday. I am glad we get to see the Rec Room because I loved the pictures.

Thanks for letting me know this was on last Saturday. I watched every episode and loved it all. That bathroom was the most beautiful room I've seen in ages. But I enjoyed all of it. More Sarah! More Sarah!

Watched all the new shows in a row. Probably not a good idea. The show started to feel scripted and their banter not the way it used to be. I realized that this was very true when I saw the last minute of each show where it would feature the two of them in an actual funny unscripted moment.
Missing the way it used to be. Now I feel like I'm watching a classroom assignment. To much instruction, not enough fun.
I can't stand how they think an $800 light is a good deal. That's my mortgage payment right there.
As always love Sarah, she is beautiful eye candy. Wish Tommy would get his way a little more often. Would love to see a switched episode where he is the king and she is his helper.
The finale showed the missing girls room and looking at it I don't think I missed anything. Same fabrics as her other show. Same repainted vintage pieces. Would like to see her version of contemporary.

More alarming is that HGTV burned these episodes off in two Saturdays instead of giving them a weekly prime time timeslot. This is a death knell in terms of television programming.
Hey HGTV programmers, are you daft? How about less Love It or List It, and give Candice and Sarah Richardson REGULAR time slots for their new shows. Seriously, what are they thinking killing off the best designers' shows like this? This message has been edited. Last edited by: LAinLA,
