I made the red neck wine glasses using the E6000
glue and it dried clear. After you sanded the bottom of the mason jar did you wipe it real good. I wonder if anyone else had that problem.

I use E6000 for gluing pretty much all my hard -to-glue surfaces...glass, metal, etc. I've never had it turn white, always remains clear. Confused
I agree that maybe after sanding all of the dust wasn't removed?

I glued some thing with the Aleen glue and put it out on my porch to dry. I didn't dry clear like the Aleen craft glue usually does. It has been hot and humid here, I am wondering if that could be a problem with the e 6000 glue on the wine glasses. Just another thought.

E6000 is the way to go. I have used it hundreds of time and never turned white.

E6000 is made to withstand extreme hot and cold temps. Even though it remains flexible (so it doesn't become brittle and let go like some other glues) it still shouldn't turn white. This is a puzzling one for sure.
