I would love to make a collage of photos for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. What should I use as backing; I need something sturdy. thank you.
I would give up ice cream but I'm not a quitter.
Is this how you are doing it?
Good friends are like stars...You don't always see them, but you always know they're there.
Two large pieces of foam core, (glued/sandwiched together) would be very rigid and easy to use.
If you plan on keeping it, I would put some scrapbook paper in between because I dont think foam core is acid free.
You can purchase acid free foam core, but honestly is this something that one would keep and store for decades? All the photos can be scanned, cropped and copied, so the originals are undamaged.
While you are at it, (if you do scan them), I'd make a CD disk of the photos and duplicate it for each close relative that would like a copy.
