keep wedding gown flat... Sign In/Join

Hi,
I'm new to this.
I am making a flower pot doll for someone using their 50 yr. old wedding gown. The edge is scalloped. I can't get it to lay flat.
Any ideas?
Appreciate any help you could give me.
Thanks!

Is this dress going to be used again? Just curious. I think I would gently iron it and maybe use spray starch on it. Carefully if planning to use the dress again. Please let us know what you do.

Jean

Thank you Jean for your advice. I will give it a gentle try. Also, the wedding gown will not be used again.
