Check and see if there is a ribbon outlet in your area. I go to the Offrey outlet in Hagerstown,MD and get the most amazing deals. I got a bag of tangled ribbon for $1. Spent an hour untangling it while watching tv and had about 30 yards of useable 1 in wide printed ribbon.

Places like Goodwill & your thrift stores sometimes have ribbon. Sometimes I splurge & go for the Michaels & Hobby Lobby for mine. Print out the Michaels 40% off coupon & the savings are great.
