Some years ago there was a kitchen or recipe swap on this board. Along with my exchange gift I received a small amount of sand and some very tiny rocks from a lady in Hawaii. I would like to thank her "in person". I saved that gift in a votive candle holder and today I framed the sand and hot glued the rocks to the edges of the frame. This is the start of my "sand paintings" collection. I plan to add a sand painting from every beach we go to this summer!
