I am trying to find the insulation used to sound proof basement ceilings. I see the product used in Scott McGillivray's show Income Property. I need this as quickly as possible because we are near the point of sound proofing and on one has been helpful so far.

Don't know if you found the sound proof insulation yet but it is called rock wool. It is much denser than normal insulation and also more expensive but it works. Hope this helps
