I hardly want to watch HGTV anymore because of all the "real estate" type shows. Love It or List It seems to be on all the time for hours on end. Seriously, what happened to the Design/Decorating shows and whatever happened to the GARDEN in HGTV?

I agree totally with you. I have been so disappointed in the past year or so with the HGTV programming. They used to have wonderful Gardening shows and more interesting/ educational decorating shows like Candace Olsen, etc. Why the programmers think we need so many 1st-time home buyers and international shopping shows, I will never know! Moat folks I know want to learn something from the channel not watch the same shows over and over about buying a house!

I so totally agree! How about to get back to Hgtv,home and garden ideas! Also why is everything 1/2million or MORE.? We're not all made of money!

Totally agree; too much of Love It or List It, so planned, not entertaining. Loved David Bromstad, Candace, High/Low, Novogratz.. shows we can learn from. Why not put them back on? Very disappointed in HGTV.

It's all about the $. Remember most of these are reruns recycled from Canadian T.V. and they were cheap to produce the first time around. So HGTV is probably buying these series for next to nothing.

House Hunters? What does that have to do with decorating ideas or gardening how to? I may just drop my subscription

What happened to the shows by Design Star winners? HighLow? Novogratz? I see that David Bromstad's show is looking for participants! <3 David's show. Still, where is everyone else? Rarely watch the channel anymore, bored by the various House Hunters shows.

Completely agree with Michgrl. How I miss David Bromstad. Real Estate shows are not interesting and neither is HGTV anymore. Blah. Changing the channel.

I love HGTV but don't watch it that much any more. I am sooooooo sick and tired of all the House Buying/Renovating/Decorating Shows that monopolize the station now.

What's the point of having a nice backyard if I don't know too much about Gardening? I am a new homeowner and need to learn so much more.
CAN YOU PLEASE REMOVE ONE HOME FIXING UP SHOW AND REPLACE IT WITH A GARDENING PROGRAM ASAP????
