Curious what others think of fake "celebrities" on D.S. Why has HGTV gone from design to glam trash?

Also because it might cost money to have "real" designers and good programs?

AY, you're right, too - they can and will and do think we are salivating over the wannabe celebs and just have to have them introduced into anything and everything they produce.

It's not enough that the Kardashian-Jenner have taken over the media and internet. Now Kris Jenner has invaded HGTV, the only place I could escape to.

HGTV has been my last resort to avoid watching all the trash now on TV. I hate the direction taken by networks that were once pretty good - Bravo, A&E, TLC.

There are so many good hosts and hostesses on HGTV, why do I now have to put up with Beth Stern, Vanilla Ice and Kim Kardashian (or Kris Jenner).

Apparently, it won't be long until there is nothing to watch, unless you're 20 years old with an IQ of about 80.

Totally agree, love Drop Dead Diva but Kim Kardashian is in the 1st 3 episodes so far. YUK! Is she so poor she needs the money?


I don't mind coming to work. But that 8 hr. wait to go home is a drag.
