Good show that would be better if we knew the city they were in for each episode.

I'd love for HGTV to replace the hosts. They are sooooo annoying. How about a more professional David who listens to the Homeowners? For me to use him, he'd have to be the ONLY realtor in town. As for the designer: She is like the Property Brothers-over promise & under perform. She doesn't perform proper due diligence before promising the "dream home." Like the PB's, she leaves something out because of "surprises."

Believe me nikijean, there are a lot of people who not only don't like this show, but who find Hilari, the fake designer, to be a slap in the face to the professional designers who used to be fans of HGTV.

I detest this show. When it comes on, I turn the channel. I dislike primarily the adversarial nature of the show. I dislike listening to the bickering and dissatisfaction on the part of EVERYONE! Give us shows like DIVINE DESIGN, where there is actual designing and class. I also miss DESIGNED TO SELL with Lisa LaPorta and the funny guy whose name escapes me right now. Those shows were worth watching.

Absolutely love HGTV....Absolutely detest Love It or List It. The hosts are horrible. Way too scripted and the "acting" is bad. HGTV save the air time for something more realistic!

Like others I don't really like the show although I like the concept. My major complaint is the misinformation they give out at the end if the show with regards to homes new value. I.e., original listed at say 500,000; cost or rehab 50,000. New value 600,000. For a 100,000 profit.
Not where I come from. You have to add the cost of the rehab to the original price then do the math. So the profit would only be 50,000 not 100000. Oversite on purpose or am I missing something.

I am so sick of Hilary screw ups and not giving the home owners what they need. She seem to do homes that always need extra repairs constantly

Yep, July21. That happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. The last straw for me was when they couldn't do the homeowners basement because of a tree in their neighbor's yard. The excuses have gotten ridiculous. For ONCE, I'd like to see the homeowners get everything they want...even if HGTV has to put up the money to cover it. Now THAT's a better show.

You know what else happens every single time? David finds their ideal home last.

This show uses the same storyboard every time. Snooze........

I don't get the designer at all. She covered over a water issue by installing some product to prevent moisture from coming up through the floor. But didn't fix the foundation? How could they sell this house? In my state that's fraud and I can't believe that it's that much different in Canada--who would buy this house?

this show is absolutely horrible! If I had a designer like that wench, I would have fired her the first day. She has never once done a project in budget and everything that they asked for. Dump the *****! Better yet dump the show HGTV spends way too much programming time showing this stupid absolutely unrealistic show

I've seen better acting a my kids school plays. Great idea ruined and mangled by the scripts, actors and drama. Starting to wonder why I watch this channel anymore

New hosts would be awesome! Also to get realistic houses. Not everyone owns an old Victorian, would be nice, but unrealistic. They never will stay in budget because the homes are 100+ old.
