Reading Yahoo news and since 1999 some of the reality shows are not real? Why do i feel so lied to and and what are the chances of the Dream home already have a choosen winner? Surly i have not wasted my time cause i love the show PLUS i have been a member of a panel research panel there and haven't received one in awhile Is this why? They found out the show was not real? I am really confused and should be told the truth to a long article by someone that sure acted like he had snswers about HGTV, I sure hope they are wrong .. really was my fav channel smarylou sakosky msakosky@ymail.com
It's not right for House Hunters, or any "reality show" to be completely set up. That's the whole point of these shows. I will not be watching any more of these and just deleted the ones I had taped. We consumers need to make a stand against this so I ask you all to join me in boycotting HGTV unti they come out and make a statement and assure us that this will change in the future!
Sorry you guys feel cheated, but this question of ethics has been discussed on the HGTV message board for years already.
Most of what HGTV has to offer is considered "informative entertainment" which means that reality is not the premise,entertainment is.
Love It Or List It and even The High Low Project are all divised to give the viewer an entertaining experience of how things can be, not how they are. Hilary is not a designer and Sabrina picks everything before hand. It is T.V. after all.
Personally I think HH is the most boring show on T.V. If you watched a sitcom that was the same plot over and over with the same 5 complaints lodged over and over, would keep tuning in?

I agree HH is the most boring show on HGTV why do they persist in airing hours and hours of it everyday is beyond comprehension. I used to love tuning into HGTV during my downtime being inspired and entertained. Now the only sure thing about HGTV is you'll find another flat episodde of HH or HHI as if! We are in a Global Recession! PLEASE HGTV BRING BACK THE SHOWS THAT PUT YOU ON THE MAP IN THE FIRST PLACE - Devine Design, Bang for your Buck. I even like to new shows Meg' Great Room, High Low Project and Shop this room. STOP THE MADNESS OF HH please!
