Sure the guys look good but that is not enough to make a good show. I liken the sales tactics used to sell buyers their home to a used car salesman with all the crap they spew to tell how good their house can be. They usually find the most rundown houses they can find, promise that they can make the house everything they want it to be , then fix one or 2 rooms in the house. Sure the rooms look great but what about the rest of the house that is all rundown still and isn't even fit to live in. This is after they pay an outrageous price for the dump which is 99% of the time over the asking price. i saw one show where they talked the buyers into spending $70,000 over asking price. People do not get into bidding wars for houses that need to be bulldozed to the ground. I hate their selling tactics. I hate the show and have never watched an entire episode, only watch enough to see what kind of lies they tell to the buyers. And how could anyone ever believe their house is "perfect" when only a small part of the house has been redone. it makes no since. I hate the show, I hate all the commercials which dominate the screen any time you watch HGTV. I would never do business with these men EVER! Good looks do not make a good show. Character is much better. I saw another post which was closed that could have been written by me almost word for word. More people need to speak out about this showThis message has been edited.
