HGTV does too many shows in Atlanta period, but PV has become unbearable with an entire season dedicated to Atlanta (with the random NY/NJ episode thrown in). Most of the homes on Atlanta are generic new builds or small, poorly cared for bungalows, furthermore Atlanta is not the most interesting market for property virgins, especially since the cost of housing is so low..i don't feel like this show is providing real estate buying education by focusing on a market that doesn't reflect so many other parts of America. If Egypt can't leave Atlanta to shoot, maybe you all should do multiple hosts, I know budgets are always a concern, but even if you shoot a block of shows in 3-4 citites, that would allow for some variation.
PV used to be one of my favorites, but I can no longer stand to watch it. Also, please bring back more midday and evening design shows, there are only so many tract homes we want to see couples purchase, but there is a huge market that needs some inspiration (in different prices points and design styles) on how to decorate and/or remodel their homes.
(BTW, it seems like a good 90% of African Americans you have on HGTV are only on PV & HH Atlanta...we buy houses in other markets you know)This message has been edited. Last edited by: Day2204,
