No cheer during Christmas 2013 Sign In/Join
For the first time during the holiday period from Thanksgiving to New Years, HGTV didn't have any craft programs and only one Christmas decorating show, White House Christmas decorating. Normally, I can count on HGTV to offer programs that I can watch with the family, many of whom love the crafting shows. What happened? Has a real estate sponsor taken over? I have a house that I don't plan to sell. Worse, many of the real estate shows are from Canada, a totally different market. I thought with the holidays that viewers would get a break from real estate. Instead, more real estate programs are on the way.

Also, why haven't the winner of HGTV Design star had a show? I hope she won't face the fate of the 2012 winner, Danielle Colding, and have a few shows in three weeks and nothing else. This is shameful.

I agree but there's no point in posting the "powers that be" don't give a hoot what we think.
