I would love to see a show that takes a RENTERS and turns them into HOMEOWNERS by making over their CURRENT rental house then handing them the title to the property as the new owners. Think 'Extreme Makover: Home Edition' meets 'For Rent'.
With so many homes foreclosed on forcing families to become renters again, how cool would it be to have a show that would put deserving families back into their own home again?
The show would start off by surprising a deserving family by fixing up their current rental, making it work for their needs and fit their style, etc. But the SURPRISE does not stop there, at the big reveal, their landlord hands them the keys and the title to the property and tells them THEY are now the new owners!
