I could understand when HGTV was in its infancy that it had to be frugal. Now that it has its own magazine and even selling products, it is time to move out into the country with make-overs. Every non-canadian home on the programs is either in california, atlanta, georgia, or NYC/NJ. Go national - seen enough California homes. Don't care for the international vacation house hunters either. the first few were interesting but after a bit sand is sand is sand . . .
