KutasmomGiving up on HGTV
Am I the only one or is everyone that watches HGTV SSSOOOOO tired of watching "Love it or List It"??? Every time I turn on HGTV IT'S Love it or List it!!!! For the last couple of weekends...I wanted to watch HGTV...but it was 5 hours of Love it or List it....Whas going on that they can't put other shows on?? I resorted to watching old Cowboy Movies rather than watch Love it or List it...one more time!!! You have overdone that show so much...I don't watch HGTV anymore...It used to be my favorite channel!!

Another disappointed fanJust tuned in to the celebrity holiday show, which is usually done by the network's accumulated hosts and stars. I don't even recognize the hosts doing the show.. My once favorite channel is soon going off my list because the programming over the last year has been getting steadily worse. Only your "Design Stars" still represent the flavor of the original network. I don't care about House Hunters and other House Buying shows dozens of times a week, or love or list it (hate it). The Property Brothers are really bad and still on. Kitchen Cousins was good but is now gone. If you went back in the archive and replayed the classic home design and garden shows from the last 10 years, I would stay tuned.

M. BrownI was so glad to read that other viewers are disappointed with programing. I was about to cancel my Dish network service as HGTV is the main reason I pay for it. Today, Saturday, Dec. 8 I was so delighted to see our old standbys back. Please, HGTV, tell us what is going on and why we have the same programs for hours all day long. If I wanted to watch DIY I would tune to it. Bring back the HGTV we loved being addicted to.

Warren BThank you Kutasmom. I just had by far the worst experience ever trying to sign up on this website to see if others were thinking the same thing I was.
I am sure there are people that enjoy Love it or List It and Property Brothers, I find them them horribly over dramatized with hosts that I have a hard time listening to and looking it. Furthermore, they are too long. I don't expect to like everything on HGTV, as they have a large audience with varying tastes. But, it's nice to be able to come back in a half hour to something I like. Instead we have hours of these two shows going on.
Please HGTV, some more variety. And for goodness sake, no over dramatized reality game shows.
Thanks.

brendaelkYES Kutasmom, I agree with you wholeheartedly, I am too sick of Love It Or List It, and The Property Brothers. They have wore both shows out. I used to watch HGTV even in Primetime every night. Please get some more choices in your line up. And you have even gave House Hunters a new name but same ole same ole. House Hunters Renovation? Please...! What happened Jody Gilmore? She was great and For Rent was a good show and now its gone along with Selling NewYork and Selling L. A. I am so disapointed as are most of my friends. Get with it again HGTV! When you start a new show you wear it out running it again and again. Whats up with that?

CeeaycheFor all of the reasons posted here, I am disappointed with HGTV programming. Most of it is real estate focused. Like one big commercial for getting a realtor. They are weak at best. Zero imagination. And though they do give the design stars a token shot, no body knows who they are because the shows are sandwiched around all the real estate shows. Then they snatch the show bedsore you can find it!
