I have been watching HGTV for many years now and I cant help but noticed that most of all the shows are geared to selling or buying homes.

Whatever happen to recycling, refurbishing or repurposing older homes or things in the home. I mean, why watch a show that shows a designer go in and bash up stuff that is perfectly recyclable by them or by someone roadside.

They make a big deal out of the GREEN home, but nowhere do you really see recycling on the HGtv shows, oh I fogot, I did see one where they recycled some boards for a dining table. My bad.

Please bring back such shows so we who are on lower incomes can learn to use what we have to beautify our homes.
