My husband and I are close to retirement. I would love to see a show that helps retirees relocate, downsize, has senior friendly topics like home safety, retirement communities vs regular home ownership, etc. House Hunters has something from time to time, but everything I've seen seems to show only Seniors who seem to be millionaires and will be moving to tropical locations. I'd like to see something more relevant to the millions of baby boomers who are trying to make the best decisions for the rest of their lives.

Eventsgirl, try RLTV (Retirement Living TV). It has programs on senior living, senior travel, fraud against seniors, senior health issues. There are some fluff programs too, but the HealthLine and life after retirement programs are more substantive.

I wish there was a show about selecting a retirement home in "active 55 and up" planned communities. We've visited 5 different locations in 4 states and think that we've found the place.

I wish HGTV would have a show following a couple as they decide on location, downsizing, and decorating a home to set it apart from the same floor plans in these planned communities.

Don't forget, we have disposable income to purchase from the advertisers - Ha!

Looking for drama? Downsizing (what to keep and move... of course the husband wants an office, but can't the wife just use the guest bedroom for her space?) Moving away from elderly parents? Moving closer to one child and not the other? (Don't assume you know which child is OK with the choice)
