My wife and I love the show, but the only problem with the fellow's strategies is with overpricing the neighborhoods. If a property market value is $500,000 and they spend $125,000 on renovations(just because the homeowners have a $625,000 budget), they may have overbuilt the neighborhood and will be upside down with regard to what the property will bring later. Could they address this issue on the shows?

My favorite part of the show is the Before/Jonathan's Design/After pictures. In particular, I like to see the design versus the actual results. I always record the shows so I can fast forward through the parts I don't care about and pause the parts I want a closer look at.

As with ALL HGTV's programming, the editors don't ever allow more than one whole second per shot, so it's very difficult to try to absorb everything. Hence the need for recording-- so I can pause and fast forward.
