I hope this is in the right area of the message board. I am writing to say how disappointed I am that the word "bitc*" appears on the show Renovation Realities. My children 8 and 6 can read the screen when it says "can be a bitc*" at the beginning of EVERY show. They love to watch HGTV. It just seems so unnecessary. I think you could have figured out a different way to get the point across. In the future please keep this in mind when developing new shows. Very disappointing!
"This *****" is also a favorite on this show.
Unless you're talking vacuum cleaners, it's not necessary on TV (IRL is a different story)
I know people want their 15 minutes of fame, but why would anyone agree to be put on this show? They go out of their way to show the mistakes you make in the process of doing a renovation project and make them look like fools in the process.
Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.
I am not an employee of HGTV, nor is anyone else that posts here.
My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
