Here's a link to the episode called "A Budget for Abatement".
Sadly, the link to this episode is no help, not a single vendor is cited. The show re-aired today, July 22 at 11 am and I was smitten by the glass countertops. Hillary touched on them briefly saying that it was glass and that you could put a hot pot right on it without damaging. That's it, not another clue. In the episode, the counter was shown being cut as you would granite but there was no other mention of even what it was called, ie slab glass, recycled glass, etc. It didn't look "chippy" like a recycled glass material and it didn't appear as a watery slab as in thinkglass dot com. I've only seen glass in uber shiny finishes. This one however, looked like a matte finish but with a random pattern of circles (of perhaps a different sheen) running throughout. It appeared black but lighting might have distorted the color. Anyone have a clue? When I get to be queen, there will be marketplace listings of materials used for all HGTV shows or the show won't be aired!! Venting complete!
