I'm going to remodel my family room. I want to use a bamboo theme. I'm having a hard time finding just bamboo poles locally or even some that I can have shipped for a reasonable price. Also, I will be building a storage bench and want to add a separate chair, keeping with the bamboo theme, but I can't seem to locate anything that would look good indoors.
I've tore up the Internet but have not came across any sites that cater inside the US that are within my price range.

I'm doing all the work myself to keep my prices down, and I'm really on a tight budget.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or sites they can reccommend?

Sorry, but theme rooms are out. Decorate the room and personalize based on the style of the ret of the home.

OP - you officially have dispensation to decorate your home in any way that pleases you. I don't really know if themes are in or out. Don't care. You want bamboo - bamboo you SHALL DO!

You didn't really mention what size poles you were looking for or what your price range is. Sometimes if you use the shopping selection of Google you'll get better hits.

I do see what you mean - I found things in prices ranges from $10 to $hundreds. A few places appeared to be garden centers. Have you checked with any local garden centers? I know that sometimes even finding a reasonably priced item online, the shipping can make it out of your price range.

For me personally, I like the visual of bamboo shape as well as the acutal material. Don't really know the details you have in mind for your room but I've seen sheer curtains with a bamboo silhouette and have seen bamboo stencils.

I think you gave me just the site I've been looking for!! I don't have to purchase a huge bulk of them that won't be needed.

It's funny how some say "themes" are out, yet they use the new term "scheme" I guess it's one of those po TAT o - pa tat a things.

I'm staying with natural tones, tying in the real bamboo, and for color I'm using a material that has bamboo leaves on the seat cushions and valances. Is that a theme or a scheme?

I eventually hope to lay bamboo flooring, but it's not in the budget this time.
