I would love to find out where to buy the convertible coffee table shown on an episode of "For Rent" with Jodi Gilmour this week. It had a dark wood top and metal criss-cross legs that lifted up and then the top opened up and leaves folded in to make a table with room for 6. She said it was Italian, - who is the manufacturer?

If anyone has gotten this information, please update! I don't think I'm overstating to say I *need* that table - so much nicer looking than the others I've seen available!

I was kind of disappointed to see that it was $1500 since Jodi said she did the makeover for only $1000 or so. Still looks like a good table though.

Thanks for posting back, dcdaria. Agree, nice table and glad they responded. WRT the price, that sounds about right.

IMHO, the FR team probably received at least the standard designer's discount (in my understanding) of 40%, if not more for promotional consideration. At 50% off or cost, they had a couple hundred dollars for the remainder of the room. IIRC, it was a very small room.

The website link for the table (from BoConcept) was posted above. The table is $1,500. Lisa Canning, the FR designer, probably received at least a 40% designer's discount.
