Description: Wood blocks that vary in depth but are about the same size squares, about 4 X 4. You put these on a wall to create a "Wood Block Wall Treatment". Picture wood blocks glued to a wall one on top of another and side by side. It is usually used as an accent, ie around a fireplace. The shows that I saw this on did not give any info about the product, but did show the host taking the wood blocks from big boxes like he had ordered it and not made it from scratch. The wood blocks are finished in a medium-dark stain. Thanks in advance. This message has been edited. Last edited by: wood's wife,
I can't believe it, but I just found exactly what I was looking for. I thought you might be interested in seeing what I was talking about. Thanks again. The link is.. beckwithinteriors.com/collection.php#h-2
Everytime I've seen this done it's just been where the designer/crew grabs some 4x4's cuts, sands & then stains. Seems like a pretty good alternative if you don't want to order the pre-finished product

Thank you for your input. I was thinking, if I do the project, that I might use wood floor strips and cut them into 4 inch pieces. They have the tongue and grove part that I can use or I can cut it off. For the end pieces, I thought that I could order an end strip for the side to finish off the look. I found two colors that are pretty similar yet different thicknesses. Not sure if I will do the project yet, because it is way more work than I initially thought, but who knows.... I may be motivated one day for a creative project. Thanks again for your time. Susie
