I have to mute the TV whenever that comercial comes on. It is hideous!

I really like the video. It's unique and amnusing. I especially like it when the guy says."baby, baby, let me sleep on it." Smile

The commercial is juvenile. Is it the 40+ version of Hannah Montana? I'm 40+ & this type aimless gyrating seems to deminish the seriousness involved in selling, finding or purchasing a home. Quite ridiculous!

The ad for this show annoys me so much that i actually went to the hgtv website to try to find an email address to send an email asking them to please stop running the ad. i am tired of having to hit the mute button during every commercial break. and the woman in the khaki pant and green sweater looks like she is wearing a diaper. it's torture...and yes, i know i could just turn the tv off or change the channel, but i really like hgtv Smile

You old folk never like modern music like "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" by Meat Loaf. Big Grin

The show itself is okay, but the video is so CHEESY. Not only is it annoying, but the song sticks in my head and plays over and over for several hours after I see the commercial for it. I guess if they wanted to get our attention it worked, annoying or not!

the vid is well done. good closeups to set "drama", then well-choreographed big group looking up to camera. the lead's head shake at the end is short & sweet. light-hearted touch to redirect meaning of classic song.

I came to this site just to see if there was someone to contact regarding the sleep on it commercial. I registered to make this reply only. This commercial is the BEST I have seen in a long while. It is adorable. I love the guy and all the girls that dance. At the end when they put their hands in their back pockets and shake their
behinds is too cute. . It brings a smile to my face everytime I see it. Don't take it off or change it It is perfect just the way it is.
I am 54 so maybe you have to be older to appreciate it.

I think the add is funny! I believe the video is a mimic of one of the numbers from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". I think it's a hoot!!

"Sleep on It" is simply ridiculous! How many sellers would allow total strangers access to their home and personal possessions. Offensive ad. It seems that the majority of HG-TV shows are info-mercials for real estate agencies. Production cost is minimal. Nothing designed, created or decorated. Agents showing three homes to propective buyers. That keeps costs down.

ease up on the old folk, I remember meatloaf and he was a good singer, but to be honest that darn commercial is annoying and I am glad my husband has football on tonight because I also don't have to listen to that hideous man.

I must confess that I sing along with the commercial and really I don't know if I like it or just feel desperate since the writer's strike.

Like the song and I do keep on singing it after I've heard it. I plan to tune in and see the show. It was a good attention getter.

We are long time viewers of HGTV but must say that not only is the commercial irritating but no one in their right mind would turn their home and personal belongings over to total strangers (plus tieir pets). Think you need to scrap this one and try something more interesting and realistic.

Love the promo (yes, I was a Meatloaf fan) but think the premise of the show is totally idiotic!

I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That's deep enough. What do you want, an adorable pancreas?

It is the MOST annoying commercial I have ever had the displeasure to watch. I mute it as well every time I see it coming. Not real impressed with the show either. They could have spent their money in a much better way!
