. It was on a repeat of Celebrity Home on another network. Some of those I feel have insipired me.....
I thought i liked the greenish background flowered [roses]english cottage type wallpaper, but now think the blue may have been better. I am dying to go look at wall paper or fabric.
I just wonder if I could live with it.
The acessories and flowers are right up my ally.
though the look she had was not really shabby chic. I need a happy medium.
I love a yellow green, Pink and maybe creamy yellow combinations of colors. Sometimes Funky ones too.
I wish hgtv wuld do something like that. Instead of always painting the walls or stenciling. Or has there been a show with something like this that I have missed.

Hey, I missed the Betsey Johnson cottage, but I do love mixing florals. Blue can never go wrong in my book. I`m hung up on decorating to fit my style of house, its an old 1860s farmhouse. I want to branch out with my florals that I have been collecting on e-bay, but always hesitate, its that out of box thing, I guess. Susan

Moving ads . . . also take a look at Susan Sargent's website for some inspiring use of color.

Noticed this about Betsey and remembered that I'd seen her a couple of years ago in Honolulu, Hawaii where I live.. But where you might ask at a fancy hotel, a tropical resort, and hot night spot.. Nope. A few blocks from my street in Kaimuki Town at the Salvation Army... yup and she was right behind me in line. She bought a bunch of things but I was trying not look.. acting like it's everyday one see's Betsey at a Thrift shop..

I saw this show and it seems she lives exactly how she designs her clothing. Gobs of color and mixing of patterns. I couldn't live with it all meshed together but it really made me smile.
