I have bead board paneling in my living room and like it , I hate the carpet and found hardwood floors under . Do wood floors work with panleing or is it to much ?

You can never go wrong when taking out carpet.

Even if you wish to keep the paneling natural, a large area rug can break up the "all brown" experience.

Or you can have it painted a creamy color. Beadboard is traditionally white or cream white in New England and Southern homes.
